My "Recycled Glass" paperweights are handcrafted using crushed window glass (green) and blue bottle glass. The individual pieces of crushed glass are visible once the glass is cast in the mold and the edges are ground. Each flat surface goes through up to six different steps of grinding and polishing to achieve the optical polished finish. There are also unpolished, sandblasted paperweights.
My miniature sculptures maximize the extraordinary inherent qualities of the window and bottle glass. Each piece is unique and will vary slightly. Each piece is signed.
