Blue Ridge Mountain Winter

These glass sculptures consist of multiple layers of kiln-fired glass, depicting a serene winter landscape in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Each layer is created separately, fired, and then stacked to form a single glass block. The block is cold worked and subsequently slumped over a form in a glass kiln. This slumping process creates an outward curved shape, enhancing the perception of depth in the landscape.
