Pate de Verre Bowl - 1-day Class

Create a beautiful thin-walled vessel using a glassmaking technique known as Pâte de Verre. Pate de verre is a widely varied art form.  The glass kiln casting technique of Pate de Verre, translated from French, means glass paste.

Gather with friends or enjoy making new ones. This is a fun workshop in a relaxing atmosphere. Each person creates a glass bowl under the instruction of Amanda Taylor. It is a very user-friendly project that requires no previous experience with glass.  The project takes about 2-3 hrs to complete.  A mold is provided for you. You can work with the colored glass and stencils to create your unique bowl. The bowls are in the kiln for 4 days and can be shipped for $30 if you cannot pick them upafter they are finished.
