Ocean Kelp Deep Vessel

The interaction between the interior and exterior elements and colors in this kiln formed vessel were inspired by the color and movement of algae in water. By intentionally having the inside and exterior elements of the vessel work with each other, the effect of the overlaying colors is intriguing. Each step of my process creating this vessel, was carefully thought out to create this look. This piece has undergone multi-step processes, both in the kiln and during the finishing, before emerging into its present form. Color variations within the form are mostly due to reactive properties inherent in the glass used.

Vessel comes with custom made metal base.

The vessel is intended for decorative purposes only. It is not intended for food. It is not dishwasher safe. To clean, wash with warm soapy water.
