There is always a lot of thought and planning that goes into custom artwork. Each project and customer is unique. Meeting with the client to see exactly where the work will be located, what their vision of the final piece is, discussion of options for the work itself, the installation process, taking exact meadurements of location, costs, and timing of project is an essential beginning to having a satisfied customer.
This process with our client started late in 2023. We finished and installed the beautiful commissioned piece (actually 3 pieces) for our customer who lives in Biltmore Forest in Asheville, NC. Since they moved into the house they had only placed a colored vinyl in the window opening so that neighbors could not look into the bathroom from the exterior. The installed fused glass panels brighten up the space and give them their needed privacy. She had been waiting so long to have one of my pieces in the opening, it brought tears to her eyes when we finished the installation. Can't ask for more than that kind of appreciation.
